our winter in idaho.

we still talk about it and we always will.  that winter in the mountains.  where we had only one neighbor on thousands of acres.  where life slowed down whether you wanted it to or not.

we reminisce about the snake river and little we felt and how big God is.  how cool is it to have this view from your front porch?

we look back with joy and fond memories.  memories full of adventure and bonding.  memories being stretched beyond our comfort zones.  and snow.  lots and lots of snow.  and just maybe there is something to be learned by those flakes.

Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things,
but just look what they can do when they stick together.

  1. What a wonderful experience!! Have a wonderful day!!

  2. Looks lovely... do you miss the snow??.... Where I'm from....we always have least for 6 months...and now when we come south...I feel like I have been SO SO be able to get away from that cold and snow!!... But everyone should experience it as it is beautiful...but after 50 some years of it....

  3. What a blessings to have that experience.. to see that from your porch each day.. There is something to be said about living a slower simplier life...I know you miss that. Of course, God has so much to show us no matter where he takes us if we just take the time to see it... anywhere is good as long as He is with us.. Have a great week.. Blessings!

  4. Oh it was so beautiful I am sure you miss it but you have those wonderful memories and lots of love in your home. HUG B
