horse sense.

foxy our little dog is well, quite foxy.  she used to try to rile up the horses, it's a wonder she never got stepped on.  she is seen here showing teeth and giving the best she has to offer in the scare tactic department. you notice what the horse is doing?

not much.

oh...its ears are alert and his eyes are zeroed in on the irritating creature...he's no dummy. but, he doesn't act scared or worried does he?  he's not running for life or cowering down hiding behind his friends.

he knows something that i need to remember.  he is bigger than the enemy.  foxy can cause all the stink she wants but the horse knows in reality this little dog can't do much damage.

why is this horse smarter than me at times?

why do i get stressed when the enemy tries to confuse or intimidate me?  why can't i remember who's on my side?

it appears i need a little horse sense.

You, dear children, are from God and have overcome them, because the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world. 1 John 4:4
