thank you and a *giveaway*

when i started this particular blog earlier in the year if you can believe this i was not going to talk much about my faith.  i wanted the blog to appeal to everyone and not step on any toes.

well...so much for that.  not that i step on anyone's toes but when something burns so much inside of my heart i can't keep my mouth shut.

"Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks."  Matthew 12:34

anyway, i've made some really awesome friends and appreciate each one of my followers and readers.  your comments brighten my day and encourage me.  i love, love, love that God uses me to encourage {and challenge} you as well.  my life is an open book...what you see is what you get.  i am humbled that i have anything to share at all of any interest.

i truly believe God is up to something amazing and big and i thank you for going along with us on this journey.  i said long ago that it will be a wild ride...little did i know just what we were in for!

i know i have some new followers: for a while now i have not been able to see my followers on the laptop for whatever reason.  i also have not been able to comment on about half of your blogs since the laptop was "fixed."  that being sad, i'd love to meet you.  email me or leave me a comment so i can follow you back if you'd like.

thank you for reading our blog, for your prayers, for your sweet words and support.  i wish i could hug each of you...maybe one day i can =)

for this month's giveaway...we'd love to give you two {2} sets of "Write out Alzheimer's" note cards created by a friend here in Oklahoma.  these are adorable stationary sets for an awesome cause.  You get to choose the colors of the faux leather pouches.  keep one for yourself, give one away.  keep them both.  whatever meets your fancy.

just leave a comment to enter...any comment will do.

and thank you. again.
love.

  1. Forget Me Not's stationery are lovely. I still write to my mother but not as often as I used to- I get on the phone more often now. I know she keeps all my letters though and likes to look over them occasionally. A few years ago she gave me all the letters I had written to her and my grandma, from when I was quite young.

  2. What a nice giveaway! Those are beautiful note cards. Anyone who has or has had someone in their life suffering with Alzheimer's feels the heartache and devastation that goes along with this disease. My great uncle, who had Alzheimer's, passed away a couple years ago. It broke my heart to see him and my aunt go through all the years of suffering.

I am loving that new header! The girls looks so cute all dressed up and your little guy is adorable in his hat! :)

I do not need to be entered into the draw I just wanted to tell you you are awesome. B

  7. I used to work with Alzheimer's patients in a nursing home, then my mum in law got a form of it. It is a worthy cause.. I don't think you can buy it in the stores over here. I don't need to be entered in the draw either. I think you are pretty awesome and I love the comments you make on my blog. I truly feel I have made a new friend. Hugs to you too. Nell
